It seems as though we see a new data breach happening monthly with major companies like Facebook and Target. Aside from information being stored with companies, what are you doing to protect your information from identity theft? Most of us would answer with nothing at worst and storing everything in a box you have been meaning to shred at best.
The city of Euless is going to host a shred event where you can bring all your personal papers and documents to shred on site. In collaboration with DFW Enrolled Agent Society, you can bring everything up to shred free of charge. Papers may contain thin metals such as staples, paperclips or even rubber bands. Please do not bring CDs, jump drives, three-ring binders or plastic bags. Paper may be brought in standard size “bankers” boxes.
